The vet put me at ease about my concerns about my cat. I'm a new cat owner and never really had pets before. He made me feel like he really cared about my kitty. They were thorough but also quick. Any concerns I had he helped me with and definitely didn't make me feel like a hypochondriac about my cat. He was very good with my cat and the vet techs were also very good with him. And my cat can be a handful especially when he's scared. They gave great advice. It's very clean there as well and not as expensive as I was expecting.
Difficult to schedule and VERY inflexible. As a new patient (relocated to the area)I scheduled an appointment months in advance of my cat's annual exam but unfortunately she had a urinary problem prior to that appt. When I called to see if they could see her they said not for a couple weeks and recommended I go to the emergency vet. She said they only keep a few emergency appts for their existing clients but usually send people to the emergency vet. First red flag. Fast forward a couple months, my cat's annual appointment had arrived but when I called the day off to reschedule because I was stuck at work the receptionist said "I don't know if we can reschedule because we already confirmed your appointment...let me check with my boss". Seriously? You've never had anyone have a life issue that prevented them from making their appointment? I truly understand that a small practice does not have as much flexibility as a larger vet with multiple doctors but to have zero flexibility or forgiveness for life's unexpected circumstances is just unrealistic and very poor customer service.
