Clean, well organized store with good staffing that gets you through checkout quickly. Great selection, and the produce and meat are both great quality. Good to go food too - their pizza is surprisingly good for a supermarket, as is their sushi. Prices are a little high on some things but their sales are great.
As a Local Family owned and operated Grocery Store, I trust Big Y for all my families needs, wether its baby food for junior, or Fresh Lobster for that Romantic Dinner for me and the Mrs. I choose Big Y, not only because they've been around since the early 1900s, but also because they have good prices, great selection and competitive prices (even with Walmart). We especially love their expanding Organic and Natural Foods selection. Why drive to Amherst when you can get your organic, fair trade non gmo goods here in town. I even get my flower bouquets here too when I need to butter up to the wife. Overall Awesome Store!
