You can park before your appointment time, I arrived at 2pm and I parked there after I was unloaded. Be prepared to wait; appt time 5pm you can check in at 4:30ish. You have to wait in line and that takes about 45 minutes. At that time they said they have no available doors call when ready. 7:11pm received a door and received paper work at 11:29pm. Oh Ladies there Only porta potty.
Nice place yes had to walk but good for the blood flow. Once you park if close to four get out and get in line. It starts early and long. Takes about two hours to unload but quick over all. Some might be nasty but that’s because your nasty. Everyone there was super nice to me. Nice place to go. Will come back.
First check in with the guard shack then drive all the way to the other side of the facility to park your truck and then walk all the way back to the shipping and receiving office and wait in line. Lady at the receiving window is very nice and helpful. Backing in the docks can be headache some time especially if there are trucks on both side of you. Unloading is fairly quick.
I think C&S should have a closer disable parking for truckers.
The check in office is VERY VERY far from where the trucks wait to get loaded, so you will have to park your truck about 0.4 mile far and walk that distance , check in and then walk back. So to check in you will have to walk about 0.8 mile go and back.
There are lot of truck drivers who are disable and can't walk that distance.
Checked in was told to read a bunch of rules. W not parked checked in again was told won’t be ready to start until 7 because of a issue with the facility. Everybody started being called at once about 7;45pm when I was called. Appointment was for 5pm. Didn’t leave until midnight. Had to leave trailer running at -10 for hours for no pacific reason. I like to stay away from places like this.
