We're done here now - We gave it three tries but that'll be it. The veal was the worst I ever had... thick and tough.. inedible. The basil on the pizza Margherita was loaded with some kind of grit (unwashed??). My wife (a baker) wouldn't let me eat the bread because she was convinced it wasn't fully cooked, and by GOD... how about putting some seasoning in the salad dressing! Just SOME flavor would be nice. The service has a very strange look-at-me streak to it... everything is formulaic and over expressed, leaving you with the distinct impression they have no real idea how restaurants speak to their patrons... everyone is "yes my friend"... "is this your first time here my friend"... "I beg your pardon my friend". Too bad... we could use a decent Italian place east of Springfield.
