He is a liar too. There are never more than 3 to 4 cars if that at most, and he says "they are booked" every weekend. Be careful if you stay here. Very shady place.
We went there and rented a room on New Year's Eve and accidentally spilled soda on the blanket. Next thing you we are getting accused of having 4 people stay overnight when the were just visiting for the New Years. The manager gave us such an attitude saying we were never supposed to get the room and the lady that rented it to us was stupid and wasn't supposed too. Really really terrible service besides the nice young lady at the front counter, she helped us with everything. And then they kicked us out and only gave 2/3 of our money back. Spended 68 and only got 40 back
I stayed in this place for ONE WEEK a while back, when I stepped out for an hour, he went into my room, not to clean it, but he took my empty bottles I had organized on my little bitty fridge to return myself. I went to the office and he admitted taking them. I should mention that I made it clear from the first day, I will not want anyone to come in, that I would clean up after myself.

Reasonably clean. Small beds and pretty small room. TV too small also. Haven't been to other area hotels, so can't compare value to other nearby places. No one was there when I wanted to check out so just left key in the room.
The owner is very hard to understand but with that said, he is extremely rude. He quoted a weekly rate less than a week ago to me of $230.00 and now he says he is booked every SAT AND SUN and does not rent his rooms by the week.
Don't trust this one man show. The place is a dump, burnt blankets, dirty linens, filthy carpets, musty smell, and to boot no closets, and no privacy. No refund. So I had to take it.
Get your moneys worth. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, neighborhood is nice and quiet. Great small town motel.
