A gem in downtown Westfield's crown. Great librarians, great selection and their programming is consistently excellent.
This library has been very helpful since I was a kid. It has great resources and staff. However there is no bathroom for patrons who choose to study there.
Whenever I borrow books or DVD's and then return them, a few days later I get a email saying that I need to return the stuff (that I had already returned) and then when I go to the library, and I have to search for the DVD's or books and then take them to the front desk and PROVE that I did in fact return them! Oh, and the DVD's are already back in their security cases, but the idiot who puts them back NEVER and I mean NEVER scans them in to show that I have returned them! I mean it's gotten so bad that I just buy the DVD's that I want and that way I don't have to deal with any of that crap!
Great staff and lots of programs for all ages.
Whenever I need a book that they do not have they will order it for me from another library in Massachusetts, never have had a problem, the staff is very helpful, friendly and polite!
